Churchill Living was voted “Best Medium Housebuilder” at the WhatHouse? Awards 2019, beating rivals from across the UK to one of the top awards at the “Oscars” of the house building industry.
The WhatHouse? Awards are the biggest and most widely recognised event for the nation’s new home builders. Over 1,700 senior industry figures attended the awards ceremony at London’s JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel on Friday 15th November, which was hosted by comedian Dara O’Briain and astronaut Major Tim Peake.
The ‘Best Medium Housebuilder’ category recognises the quality, design and range of Churchill’s developments, assessing all aspects of performance. Success in this category once again underlines the quality of the Company’s Colleagues, values, recruitment and training, sustainability initiatives, marketing, promotional schemes, after sales service and customer care.
The Judges’ Report said:
With Churchill it is not just about internal leadership and staff and customer care and wellbeing, but about a strong industry voice externally, championing the needs of the retirement homes community, highlighting challenges and offering solutions at national and local level.
Spencer and Clinton McCarthy, brothers and Co-Founders of Churchill Living, said:
“Our mission is to be the most successful housebuilder in the UK, and accolades like this demonstrate our progress towards that goal. We’re incredibly proud of the strength of our business, the quality of our product and our excellent customer service, but most of all our fantastic team of people around the country. We’d like to thank all our Churchill Colleagues for the hard work that goes in throughout the year to help achieve this success.”
