Sidford retirement development raises £344 for Hospiscare charity

People in Sidford joined Churchill Living at its local retirement development for a special Warming Morning event which raised £344 for local charity Hospiscare.

On Thursday 24th February everyone was welcome to step out of the cold and into the warmth of the friendly Owners’ Lounge at Lockyer Lodge in Sidford, where they enjoyed coffee, cake and a chat in return for a small donation. All of the money raised will go to Hospiscare, a local charity which supports people suffering with cancer, heart disease or any other terminal illness.

Caroline Haswell, Senior Regional Marketing Manager for Churchill Living, said: “We were delighted to welcome people to our Warming Morning event to raise funds for such a great local charity, to help them continue their vital work. It was the perfect excuse to enjoy a bit of indulgence, as well as an opportunity for visitors to experience the lifestyle, friendship and sense of community on offer at our developments.”

Churchill’s Warming Morning events take place throughout February at its retirement developments across the country, with all the money raised going towards local causes chosen by its apartment Owners and Colleagues.
