Churchill Living treated apartment Owners at its Riverain Lodge in Taunton to a special sparkling event on Friday 16th December to celebrate their new building winning a Bronze for ‘Best Retirement Development’ at the WhatHouse? Awards 2022.
Attendees were treated to celebratory festive fizz and refreshments at the development on Tangier Way, after it was recognised at the WhatHouse? Awards, which are widely recognised as the “Oscars” of the house building industry and the biggest event of the year for the nation's new homes builders.
Riverain Lodge is a collection of one and two bedroom retirement apartments, designed for independent living close to the heart of town. The judges’ report on the ‘Best Retirement Development’ winners emphasised the positive aspects of this beautiful development, with the following comments:
“Churchill has taken what was a brownfield site – a former supermarket – and revitalised this riverside area of the town, as well as providing much-needed retirement living accommodation for the neighbourhood – an economic and visual regeneration of the area.”
Churchill’s Senior Marketing Executive Jo Ridehalgh said: “We’re delighted to have achieved this recognition and it was wonderful to celebrate the award with the apartment Owners who now call Riverain Lodge home, since they’re all playing a part in the development’s extraordinary success. Those who have already moved in are enjoying more than just a brand new apartment, it’s a whole new lifestyle with comfort, security, independence and fewer maintenance worries, plus the option to socialise as much or as little as they like. It’s no wonder the apartments are selling fast!”
