Churchill Living recently welcomed local MP Rebecca Pow for fizz, canapes and a taste of retirement living for its official opening of Riverain Lodge in Taunton.
Rebecca spent an afternoon meeting the Churchill team at the lodge, including the CEO Spencer McCarthy. To commemorate the event, Rebecca unveiled an ‘Officially Opened’ plaque for the lodge. This was followed with meeting the community of apartment Owners and learning about the new lifestyle they’re enjoying. Rebecca was also given a tour of the Owners apartment, as well as the Ground Source Heat Pump technology – a form of renewable energy which is incorporated in some form across all Churchill developments.
Rebecca Pow said: “I was delighted to officially open Churchills Riverain Lodge in the heart of Taunton. With its ideal location on the river side homeowners can enjoy a great setting with easy access to all that the town offers and it was clear from talking to many of the homeowners how much they enjoy this Churchill residence. The building itself has a renewable energy focus with on site ground source heat pump technology helping to reduce overall energy costs.”
Caroline Haswell, Senior Marketing Manager at Churchill Living, said: “It was lovely welcoming the local MP, Rebecca Pow, to Riverain Lodge again to meet local retirees who are enjoying an independent and active retirement. The apartments here have already proved to be popular with 50% already sold.
