Leeds Grand Theatre
Situated in the heart of Leeds, the Grand Theatre opened in 1878, and has been entertaining people ever since. With a wide programme including musicals, opera, ballet, stand-up comedy, family shows, and dramas, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!
Rodley Nature Reserve
Enjoy a day of strolling through one of the nations favourite voted spots for wildlife, Rodley Nature Reserve. With guided walks and a visitor centre with plenty of information on the area, this is the perfect spot for an interesting and educational day out with the family.
Temple Newsam House
Still standing proud since 1066, this historic grade 1 listed manor is perfect for a day out with family and friends. The estate is home to a wide variety of facilitates, ranging from areas for horse riding to a magnificent golf course. As well as this its home to the second largest part of the Forest of Leeds which is perfect for a scenic stroll.
Shopping in Leeds
With a compact and walkable city centre, you’ll never be far away from whatever you’re looking for. The iconic Trinity Leeds shopping centre is home to 120 shops, bars and restaurants and the unique atmosphere of the Kirkgate Market is where Michael Marks, the founder of Marks & Spencers first opened his doors. This is a must visit as a Grade 1 listed building, with over 400 stalls to explore!
