Churchill Living’s apartment Owners at Bower Lodge in Shirley raised an impressive £250 for their local Air Ambulance with a charity cream tea event in the development’s comfy Owners’ Lounge.
Local businesses kindly donated raffle prizes, scones and refreshments for the event, which was attended by Churchill Owners, Colleagues and visitors, as well as guests from the Air Ambulance who provided a presentation about the charity.
Churchill’s Regional Marketing Manager Bernadette Hennelly said: “At Churchill we’re always looking at ways we can give something back to our local community and it was great to see our Owners at Bower Lodge supporting a local charity so generously. We’d also like to say a big thank you to the local businesses including Notcutts Garden Centre, Vi Stevens Florist, and Tesco, who kindly helped us out with donations of raffles prizes and refreshments.”
Bower Lodge is a collection of privately-owned one and two bedroom apartments specially designed for the over 60s, offering an independent lifestyle in the heart of Shirley close to all the town centre’s shops and services.
