The Churchill Living team has raised over £2000 for Birmingham Children’s Hospital, undertaking a 12-mile walk around Birmingham.
The walk started at Bower Lodge in Shirley and followed a scenic route through Shirley, Kings Norton, and Kings Heath, before returning to Shirley. Along the way, participants stopped at Churchill Living’s local developments Bower Lodge, St Nicolas Lodge, and Highbury Lodge, for well-earned refreshments and a chat with Owners.
The walk raised vital funds for Birmingham Children’s Hospital, highlighting the vital work that the charity undertakes and the difference they make to the lives of children and families in need of specialist care. The team’s personal fundraising was boosted by an extra £1,000 of match funding from Churchill’s own charity, the Churchill Foundation.
David Meacham, Sales and Marketing Director for Churchill Living commented on the event, stating: “It was great to see members of Team Churchill pulling together and raising money for such a worthy cause that means so much to people in the Midlands especially. Birmingham Children’s Hospital do such great work locally whilst also supporting children and young adults nationwide.”
