Chippenham retirement developments hold Warming Morning of coffee and cake for charity

People in Chippenham were invited to join Churchill Living at its local retirement development for a special Warming Morning event to raise funds for local charity the Wilts & Berks Canal Trust.

At 10.30am on Thursday 17th February everyone was welcome to step out of the cold and into the warmth of the friendly Owners’ Lounge at St Andrew’s Lodge in Chippenham, where they enjoyed coffee, cake and a chat in return for a small donation. All of the money raised will go to the Wilts & Berks Canal Trust.

Caroline Haswell, Senior Regional Marketing Manager for Churchill Living, said: “We were delighted to welcome people to our Warming Morning event to raise funds for such a great local charity, to help them continue their vital work. It was the perfect excuse to enjoy a bit of indulgence, as well as an opportunity for visitors to experience the lifestyle, friendship and sense of community on offer at our developments.”

Churchill’s Warming Morning events take place throughout February at its retirement developments across the country, with all the money raised going towards local causes chosen by its apartment Owners and Colleagues.
