At a time when many over 60s are concerned about covering their heating bills this winter, Churchill Living has introduced a new initiative to help ease the winter worries of those who make a move this winter.
For anyone buying a new apartment before 28th February 2025, Churchill will pay a Winter Fuel Allowance* of £300 annually for the next five years!
Those who choose to downsize to a modern, energy efficient Churchill apartment will already be in a better position to save money on utility bills, when compared to the cost of running a larger, older property. The extra Winter Fuel Payment from Churchill will provide even greater comfort, helping to alleviate stress during the colder months, so that buyers can maintain their independence in a warm and cosy new apartment.
Downsizing to a new apartment at one of Churchill Living’s beautiful developments across the country means you can have a comfortable, secure place to live independently, with the option to socialise with other Owners as much or as little as you like.
Churchill’s apartments are specially designed to give over 60s the freedom to enjoy an active and independent lifestyle, with the benefits of a communal Owners’ Lounge, a Guest Suite, a Lodge Manager, and a 24 hour emergency call alarm service.
Fewer worries about bills and maintenance means you’ll have more time on your hands for the people and things you love, so you can enjoy freedom to live the life you deserve.
The offer is valid on new property purchases legally completing before 28th February 2025, and is only available for Customers who are no longer receiving the Government’s funded Winter Fuel Payment. The first £300 payment will be made at legal completion, with subsequent payments in October each year for 5 years, and payments will discontinue if the buyer no longer permanently occupies the property.
This initiative comes at a crucial time, especially with concerns about the winter fuel allowance scrapped for some pensioners. Churchill Living aims to provide a reliable alternative to the pensioners winter fuel allowance, ensuring that over 60s can stay warm and worry-free during the winter months.
