Sir Desmond Swayne MP officially opens new Head Office for Churchill property management arm

Sir Desmond Swayne MP cut the ribbon on the brand new McCarthy House building in Ringwood at an Official Opening ceremony on Monday 7th October. The brand new building is the Head Office for Millstream Management Services (MMS), Churchill’s dedicated property management arm.

Members of the Churchill and Millstream teams were there to help mark the occasion, including the Group’s co-Founders Spencer and Clinton McCarthy and their father John McCarthy. John McCarthy pioneered the retirement housing and management industry back in the 70s and 80s with McCarthy & Stone, and the building’s name reflects the McCarthy family’s strong heritage in this specialist sector.

Located on Yeoman Road, McCarthy House provides 19,500 square feet of modern floor space to enable Churchill and Millstream to keep growing and creating new jobs in Ringwood and across the country.

Sir Desmond Swayne said:

I was pleased to be asked to open this fantastic new building in the heart of my constituency, and it was an honour to cut the ribbon today. Retirement properties are a crucial part of meeting the UK’s housing challenge, and the work Millstream Management Services does to ensure the smooth running of these properties helps make life better for many thousands of older people. The impressive new McCarthy House building will also enable further jobs and opportunities to be created in the Ringwood area, providing a valuable boost to our local economy.

Spencer J McCarthy, Chairman & CEO of the Churchill Retirement Group, said:

“I’m delighted that our new McCarthy House office is now officially open, paving the way for exciting times ahead for the business. We have ambitious growth plans for the future, so it’s vital that we have the people and the space in place to deliver further success. Millstream’s move to this impressive new Head Office is a clear sign of progress and a testament to the whole team’s hard work and commitment in putting Customers at the heart of everything we do.”
