Owners at Churchill Living’s Hadley Lodge in Quinton have shown their charitable side by generously donating Christmas gifts to Birmingham City Mission, to support local families in need of a helping hand this Christmas, and also sending much-needed supplies to Romanian orphans.
On Thursday 18th October, Jonathan Hackett from Birmingham City Mission visited Hadley Lodge to give the Owners a talk about the work of the mission within Birmingham and surrounding areas. It inspired the Owners to do something to help. The charity has since received a donation of over 50 toys, games and other gifts from the Owners, their families and friends, which will be distributed across the Birmingham area to those families in need.
Then in November Hadley Lodge Owners rallied support once again for an initiative in support of Romanian orphans. Between them they gathered over 30 boxes of much-needed clothes, stationery, educational supplies and other gifts to send to those who desperately need it.

I’d like to thank everyone who gave so generously to support these initiatives. It was wonderful to see the community at Hadley Lodge coming together to give something back for such excellent causes. It will help make a real difference for disadvantaged children in the local area this Christmas, as well as those further afield who are less fortunate than ourselves.
