Alison and her dog Titch are ‘furry happy’ in their brand new apartment at Langton Lodge

Stylish 74-year-old Alison Edwards could never have considered moving without her beloved dog Titch, but thanks to Churchill Living’s pet friendly policy she was able to bring her furry friend with her when downsizing to a brand new apartment at Langton Lodge.

“My daughter lives nearby and thought this would be the perfect place for me after my husband passed away,” Alison explains. “No way was I going anywhere without Titch, but I was pleased to discover that dogs are allowed here. When Tracey the Sales Executive showed me around I fell in love with the apartment that me and Titch now call home, and she is as comfortable here as I am!”

Describing Titch as a “Heinz variety with plenty of poodle”, Alison says the pair now enjoy regular walks in their new location, which is close to everything they need. “There are lots of nice parks nearby and shops to visit, and the

town centre is only a ten minute walk away,” she says. “We have everything close by, even the vet is right on our doorstep. My daughter is also less than ten minutes away and she is chuffed to bits that I’m enjoying my new lifestyle here.”

She adds: “Denis our Lodge Manager is second to none, and the help I received during the moving process was wonderful. Downsizing is not easy, but the removal team were absolute sweethearts and nothing was too much trouble, I can’t praise them enough. Thanks to them and my daughter’s help, Titch and I could just relax and look forward to settling into our new apartment.”

“I have already made some nice new friends and enjoy the regular social events like Fish & Chip Friday. The Wednesday ‘chairobics’ fitness sessions in the Owners’ Lounge are great fun too – we have a good giggle! We also have a lovely communal garden and outdoor space which I’m looking forward to spending time in when the warmer weather arrives.”

Alison is keen to encourage others to follow her lead. “I’m looking forward to making more new friends as other people move into the new apartments and our community grows,” she says. “I absolutely love it here and I’m sure others will too!”
