Enjoy your retirement in the village of Aldridge
About Aldridge
Aldridge is a town in the West Midlands Borough of Walsall, nine miles north of Birmingham. The area is surrounded by sweeping countryside and offers a much gentler pace of life.
Originally a farming settlement, the town name Aldridge comes from the Saxon word “Alrewic”, meaning Alder Tree. Alder is often seen flourishing beside rivers and streams, and the Celts believed their groves represented a place of balance. Today, Aldridge offers that same peace to its residents.
