When Barbara Roberts bought her new apartment at Lockyer Lodge in Sidford, there was no question that her rescue poodle Molly had to come with her, and thanks to Churchill’s pet-friendly policy the pair are now enjoying life in their new apartment.
“The best thing about Lockyer Lodge is enjoying moments of comfort and happiness with Molly,” says Barbara. “Seeing her enjoy a post-walk nap, all cosy and calm in our apartment is a Churchill joy!
“We moved to Lockyer Lodge quite swiftly just a few days prior to Christmas,” she adds. “The Churchill and Millstream team work very hard but still maintain their warm and caring approach as they help new apartment Owners move here and settle in. I’d like to thank them for creating such a warm, settling and happy home for me and Molly.
Barbara has also discovered that two of her new neighbours share the same name, which has led to some amusement. “I think the fact that there are three of us here called Barbara reflects the era when we grew up,” she says. “There were movie stars called Barbara back then!
“Since moving here I have found it a joy to have all the shops on the doorstep, and the Post Office and a very nice fish and chip with such charming friendly staff. We also have a bus service to Sidmouth town, and The Byes which are a beautiful place for exercise and dog walks. We are very lucky to have all this on our doorsteps.
“I would like to say a big thank you to our Lodge Manager Tina and the Churchill team, plus a barking thank you from Molly who is hoping she may soon be able to join the coffee club!”
