Owners at Churchill Living’s St Andrews Lodge enjoyed a twirl around the dancefloor last week, with an exclusive ballroom dancing session, complete with Strictly score boards.
Taking the session by storm were Owners Pat and Les, who have found the perfect dancing partner in each other during their time at St Andrews Lodge, a sentiment clearly shared by other retirees who were very generous with their scores.
Pat recounts her lifetime of ballroom dancing, starting lessons when aged 16 and meeting her late husband at a dance. She sadly had to stop dancing during the pandemic but soon found her groove again. Pat comments: “I came to my lovely Churchill apartment in Chippenham a few weeks ago and much to my surprise found Les who was just waiting for a dance partner”.
Caroline Haswell, Regional Marketing Manager for Churchill Living South West said: “Events such as this ballroom dancing afternoon really showcase the brilliant community we have created here at St Andrews Lodge. In just a few short weeks Pat and Les have started dancing through the Owners Lounge, entertaining the rest of the community and showing off their skills.”
St Andrews Lodge is made up of 46 one- and two-bedroom purpose-built retirement apartments in the charming Wiltshire market town of Chippenham. Owners have exclusive use of the Owner’s Lounge, complete with a coffee bar and views of the landscaped gardens. All Churchill apartments are completely self-contained, offering complete peace and privacy when required.
Those interested in trialling the idyllic Churchill Retirement lifestyle for themselves can try out the Experience Apartment on site. A stay will enable prospective Owners to test the secure, low maintenance lifestyle before purchasing their new apartment.
Chippenham is the ideal place for retirees to spend their years.
