Local MP Bill Esterson has placed an official date brick at Churchill Living’s new Formby development to mark the start of construction of the highly-anticipated retirement apartments.
Once complete, the development on Lonsdale Road in Formby, will comprise of 42 private, self-contained one and two bedroom apartments that are specially designed for the over 60s.
The apartments will include features such as a video-entry system, lift to all floors, a 24 hour care and support system, and a Lodge Manager. In addition, communal facilities will include an Owners’ Lounge, Guest Suite and landscaped gardens.
