How a new Churchill apartment could help reduce your costs:

Now is the time to take stock and think about how much time and money you have spent over the past year on house maintenance. If the answer is far too much, then a lifestyle with fewer maintenance worries and a service charge that’s easy to budget for could be the answer to saving money and enjoying more of your time on the things you love.

There are many misconceptions about service charges and many of our Owners are pleasantly surprised that the service charges for their apartment frequently work out less than what they were paying in comparable costs on their previous property.

Our Service Charge typically covers the cost of providing a Lodge Manager, security systems and call monitoring, external maintenance of the building and grounds, building insurance, heating, lighting and provision of all of the furnishings for the Owners’ Lounge and communal areas – all essential ingredients of the independent lifestyle our developments provide.

We always aim to keep the service charge cost as low as possible, and we provide a full budget breakdown for all our Owners to consider, consulting with them on this every 6 months.

“Living in a Churchill Apartment is absolutely marvellous. The whole building is so nice and warm all the time that we’ve hardly had to use the heating inside our apartment. When we do turn it up a notch or two it’s nice to know we don’t have to worry about the cost or the environmental impact, as it’s all so energy efficient and covered within our annual service charge.”

John and Doreen Pitt, Lewis Carroll Lodge, Cheltenham

We appreciate everyone’s household costs will differ which is why we encourage Customers to complete a ‘Savings Calculator’ with one of our Sales Executives. This calculator is designed to offer a comprehensive understanding of the value in our easy to budget Service Charge.

Living in Market Harborough

This new development of flats for sale in Market Harborough is located close to the town centre with both a Sainsbury’s and a Waitrose under 500m away, so you’ll find everything you need is practically on your doorstep. The town has been listed in the Sunday Times Best Places to Live in the UK 2018.

  • A market was established in the 13th Century and has been held on a Tuesday since 1221, thus giving the town its name of Market Harborough. It provides the ideal location for you to pick up your weekly shopping including fresh fruit and vegetables.
  • The surrounding countryside boasts beautiful, scenic walking routes, with a visit to Foxton Locks offering the opportunity to watch the narrowboats navigating through the canals.
  • The town itself has an art club and is also home to the Nevill Holt Opera, a brass band and a chamber choir.
  • St Mary’s Shopping Centre is home to the indoor Harborough Market as well as all of the usual high street brands, while the library is in the nearby Symington building.

Testimonials

Robin Cutsforth

“After nearly 40 years in our family home and looking to downsize, our initial priority was to minimise the stress normally associated with moving house. We like Market Harborough but couldn’t find anything we both liked – until we found an apartment at Tebbutt Lodge. We not only found the property we liked, but it came accompanied with an excellent package to minimise the stress factors, despite the difficulties created by lockdown. Now we are free to enjoy our new lifestyle and make new friends!”
