Discover Oxford
The city of Oxford is one of the most famous cities in the UK, and arguably in the world, and is well worth the time to explore and enjoy. Best known for the University of the Same Name, visitors are wowed by the cities striking gothic architecture, its impressive 1,500 listed buildings from every major period of British architectural history, and its wide range of shopping and leisure centres.
Explore the Cotswolds
The Cotswolds cover a vast area of natural beauty, historic sites, and attractions that make for a memorable visit during your retirement. See thatched cottages, ancient landscapes and picturesque villages featured in TV shows like Downton Abbey; or simply enjoy the UK’s second largest protected landscape for its ancient woodlands and rewarding country walks.
Shopping at Bicester
Oxfordshire is home to the town of Bicester, which is itself home to one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country: Bicester Village.
